The first official screening of the film "Terrifier 3" in the UK, which took place the day before, resulted in nine people leaving the theater during the first scene alone, and one person reportedly vomited. Director Damien Leone has said in the past that the beginning of the film is so bloody and horrific that Hollywood would not finance it.

"I met with studios, including legitimate Hollywood studios, who wanted to make 'Terrifier 3,'" the artist tells LADbible. "I knew they wouldn't let me make this movie based on the first five pages (of the script – Ed.). That's how crazy 'Terrifier 3' is.

The film's PR team confirmed to the publication that there were 11 viewers who left the screening yesterday, nine of them during the opening scene, and one fan threw up.

Fans of the saga are eagerly awaiting the bloody scenes that promise to surpass the insane first two installments. "Mark my words," said Leone, "I guarantee you that the first five minutes of this movie will be very controversial. But that's not even the most important murder scene. That's why I thought I had to make this movie myself, because it's too crazy."

The film currently has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, thanks to reviews that came from horror festivals, where it was well received by fans of extreme sensations. In the third installment, which takes place on Christmas Day, Art the Clown terrorizes Miles County while its residents are sleeping on the eve of the holiday.

As The Independent notes, the "Terrifier" film series has gained a reputation among audiences for its extreme levels of violence and gore. The previous film reportedly caused people to "faint" in theaters, which Leone denied as a "marketing ploy" created to promote an independent product.

However, it was "Terrifier 2" that brought the low-budget franchise worldwide fame, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The film became an unexpected box office hit, grossing $11 million with a budget of $250 thousand.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA told you about the first reviews of Ukrainians for the long-awaited movie "Joker: Madness for Two" starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Despite the success of the first part, which became the first ever R-rated movie to gross a billion dollars at the global box office, the audience was divided.
