These used hybrid cars are worth buying

It may seem like the era of electric vehicles has just begun. However, the secondary car market has already been saturated with a large selection of hybrid cars. Experts say that this is a good option for drivers who want to try switching from gasoline to electric models.

Therefore, Finance Yahoo has compiled a list of used hybrid cars that can be safely purchased by both beginners and experienced drivers. It includes six models.

Toyota Camry Hybrid 2019

The eighth generation of the Camry hybrid, which was released in 2019, remains one of the best options on the hybrid market. When using a combination of two engines, the model's fuel consumption ranges from 4.5 to 5.1 liters per 100 km. The car also has a spacious trunk. However, there may be some transmission problems, especially during acceleration.

Honda Accord Hybrid 2019

Experts praise this model for its extreme efficiency. It is sometimes called the most fuel-efficient hybrid sedan released in 2019. The Accord has a lot of interior space without sacrificing trunk one, and it travels 100 km on 5 liters of fuel. The only thing it lacks is all-wheel drive and complete noise insulation at high speeds.

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid 2021

By 2021, the Sonata Hybrid has undergone a complete redesign and has received new solutions, such as a roof with solar panels to recharge the battery, a larger trunk, and a fuel consumption of 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers. The Sonata is comfortable and easy to drive, but there are complaints about mediocre interior materials and increased road noise.

Toyota Avalon Hybrid 2020

The model has many standard advanced safety features and rides surprisingly good on winding roads. The updated Avalon also has split-folding rear seats and a cargo area similar in size to that of the non-hybrid model. However, the roof height on the rear row is a bit too high and the lack of integration with Android Auto is disappointing.

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid 2021

The model is praised for its excellent safety performance and driver assistance features, all at a more affordable price. In the basic configuration, the Elantra's fuel consumption is 4.5 liters per 100 km in the city and 4.2 liters on the highway. The biggest drawback is that the interior materials seem cheap.

Honda Insight 2021

Production of the 2021 Honda Insight was discontinued due to the advent of the Civic and CR-V hybrids, but it was famous for its design and smaller battery pack, which improved handling. It also offered more cargo space than most compact hybrids. It consumes 4.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in the city and 4.8 liters on the highway. However, you may notice the engine noise when accelerating.
