Video with Chinese gymnast at Olympics award ceremony goes viral, gathering 50 million views

Zhou Yaqin, the vice-champion of the world in artistic gymnastics (2023), became a real Internet star after the 2024 Olympics award ceremony. The 18-year-old Chinese woman won silver in the final of the balance beam.

Zhou scored 14,100 points, losing to the winner Alice D'Amato from Italy by 266 thousand points. Another Italian, Manila Esposito, won the bronze medal. During the solemn photo shoot, the Europeans traditionally 'tasted' the medals.
