The first set of medals of the 2024 Olympics in Paris was played in the shooting competition. The Chinese national team won the mixed team competition in air rifle shooting at a distance of 10 meters.
In the final, Chinese athletes Huang Yuting and Shen Lihao defeated representatives of the Republic of Korea Kim Ji-hyun and Park Ha-Jun 16:12. The third place went to athletes from Kazakhstan.
Thus, it was the archers from China who became the first gold medal winners of the 2024 Olympic Games.
