Tastier than Mimosa: budget Birch salad with mushrooms and fillets for the whole family
In the fall, salads are best prepared with seasonal, healthy ingredients, such as beets, pumpkin, legumes, cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms. If you want the dish to be more satisfying, add fillet, boiled tongue, liver, seafood, cheese, eggs to the salad.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious, hearty and easy-to-prepare Birch salad.
Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
- Marinated mushrooms - 200 g
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp
- Boiling water - 100 ml
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Cucumber - 1 pc.
- Prunes - 3 pcs.
- Mayonnaise - 200 g
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion, cover with boiling water, add vinegar and sugar, leave for 15 minutes.
2. Put the chopped chicken fillet on the first layer, then the onion, and brush with mayonnaise. The next layer is mushrooms, mayonnaise again, then grated eggs, mayonnaise, cucumbers, sliced into strips, a little mayonnaise, and prunes cut into strips.
3. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
