Tastier than Caesar: hearty and healthy meat salad with greens and cheese
If you want to make a delicious and hearty snack, greens such as iceberg lettuce or arugula will be a great base for a salad. To make the dish more nutritious, add cheese, eggs, and seafood or meat.
A chef shared a recipe for a delicious, healthy and hearty meat salad with greens and vegetables on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 1 pc
- bacon - 80 g
- lettuce mix
- Parmesan cheese - 2 tbsp
- ciabatta
Sauce:
- Greek yogurt - 2 tbsp.
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- basil leaves
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- olive oil - 1 tbsp
- salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Sprinkle the chicken fillet with salt and pepper and fry until cooked. Fry the bacon too.
2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a blender.
3. Mix all the ingredients for the salad and dress with the sauce.
4. Sprinkle the parmesan on a frying pan and melt it to make a pancake, which will turn into a chip when cooled. Be careful not to overcook it to avoid bitterness. Serve with the salad.
