Tastier than a casserole: lush Charlotte cheese pie with apples for tea
"Charlotte" is a perfect autumnal cake for tea and coffee. To make the cake fluffy, cooks advise adding baking powder to the dough and cinnamon for flavor.
- eggs - 3 pcs
- sugar - 150 g
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- butter - 120 g
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- flour - 240 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- apples - 2 pcs
- sugar + cinnamon for sprinkling
Method of preparation:
1. Break eggs into a bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar.
2. Add soft butter and cottage cheese, mix until smooth. Sift the flour, add the baking powder and knead a homogeneous, thick dough.
3. Put the dough into a baking dish, leveling the surface, and add the apple cut into thin slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and put in a preheated 180-degree oven for 45-55 minutes.
Check for doneness with a wooden stick.
