Ukrainian schoolchildren are the strongest in Spanish classes and have the best grades in school. Moreover, our children participate in local competitions.

According to Ukrainian Vira Vovchyk, who has been living in Spain for three years with her son, local teachers are shocked by the level of knowledge of Ukrainian students, as they have the best knowledge among their peers. In a post on TikTok, she notes that our children don't even need a tutor to learn Spanish.

"Spanish teachers are shocked by Ukrainian children. I come to the class teacher at the Spanish school to talk about my son's studies and whether he needs help learning Spanish. We have been living in Torrevieja for three years now, and there are seven Ukrainians in my son's class. And there are classes with 9-10 Ukrainian children. And here the teacher tells me that Ukrainian children are the strongest in the class, that they have the best grades – 9-10 points in all subjects. And here is a 10-point grading system. And he says that my son doesn't need any tutor to learn Spanish, because he is the best in the class and knows even better than native speakers," Vovchyk says.

She notes that it seems that only Ukrainian children attend math competitions. Moreover, the woman assures that they are the ones who win. According to her, this is due to the training in this subject, in which children from Ukraine are ahead of Spanish children.

"Our Ukrainian boy, he goes to high school, he's almost 13, and he's sent to the math Olympiad. It seems that only our Ukrainian children go to math competitions. And they win, by the way. Because their math skills are very strong. They are several steps ahead in math compared to Spanish children," says the Ukrainian.

According to her, our children show a high level of education, which Spanish teachers did not expect.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that a scandal broke out in one of the Portuguese schools because children are not allowed to go to the toilet during lessons and have to sit in class for almost an hour and a half in elementary school. This is allegedly how they try to teach students discipline.
