Soft and fluffy pancakes with warm kefir
Homemade pancakes are an ideal breakfast dish and a great alternative to rolls, pies, dumplings, and bread. To make them fluffy, chefs advise adding baking soda to the batter and cooking it with warm kefir.
- flour - 150 g
- egg - 1 pc.
- kefir - 200 g
- sugar - 30 g
- salt - a pinch
- soda - 5 g
Method of preparation:
1. Heat kefir. It is very important as baking soda will work better. Kefir should be warm. Mix egg with sugar, add a pinch of salt, mix, and pour kefir. Stir.
3. Gradually add flour, mixing to avoid lumps. Finally, add baking soda and let the batter stand for 15-20 minutes.
4. Heat a frying pan over low heat, spoon out the pancakes and fry on low heat on both sides.
Serve with sour cream, condensed milk, and berries!
