New Year's gingerbread cookies: how to make a flavorful dessert
Gingerbread cookies are the perfect winter dessert for children and adults alike. To make them crispy and delicious, cook the dough with butter.
The FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for delicious, flavorful gingerbread cookies with cinnamon, honey and cocoa.
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 250 g
- Butter - 100 g
- Powdered sugar - 100 g
- Chicken egg - 1 pc.
- Honey - 1 tbsp
- Cocoa - 1 tsp.
- Ground ginger - 1.5 tsp.
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Ground cardamom - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground cloves - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground allspice - 0.25 tsp.
- Soda - 0.5 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the sifted flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa and all the spices, mix.
2. In another bowl, grind the softened butter and powdered sugar with a mixer or whisk. Add the honey and egg and mix well. Knead the soft dough by combining the liquid and dry ingredients. Leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Take out the dough, roll it out thinly, 1 mm thick. It is convenient to do this between two sheets of baking paper and immediately cut out the shapes, transfer the cookies together with the paper to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 7-10 minutes.
