Korean beets: a recipe for a very tasty and healthy appetizer in 5 minutes

Beets in any form are one of the healthiest and most delicious vegetables. Beets can be used to make first courses, as well as delicious and healthy salads, appetizers, and sauces.

The chef shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious Korean-style beets with vinegar, oil, and spices.

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot 500 g
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1.5 tbsp
  • Coriander 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 6% 2 tbsp (wine, apple, rice)
  • Garlic 4 cloves.
  • Sunflower or sesame oil 60 ml (4 tbsp)

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the beets on a Korean carrot grater, sprinkle with salt and leave for 30-40 minutes, do not pour out the juice.

2. Add all other spices and pour hot oil, mix well and put in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 12 hours.

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days!
