Juicy chicken cutlets in tomato sauce: a simple recipe
To make the chicken cutlets juicy and tasty, cooks advise adding grated vegetables to the minced meat, or you can also use hard grated cheese.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very juicy, delicious cutlets with cheese cooked in tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
- Minced chicken - 700 g
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Breadcrumbs - 3 tbsp.
- Salt, pepper
- Dried garlic - 1-2 tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 g (or mini mozzarella)
Sauce:
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Flour - 1 tbsp.
- Tomato puree - 400 ml
- Water - 350 ml
- Fresh basil
- Salt, pepper, sugar
- Dried parsley
Method of preparation:
1. Add the egg, breadcrumbs and spices to the minced meat. Knead the minced meat and let stand for 20 minutes.
2. Form patties and put cheese inside.
3. Fry them on both sides.
4. For the tomato sauce: fry the diced onion for 5 minutes. Add flour and fry for another 1 minute. Pour in the water and tomato puree. Next, add dried parsley, fresh basil, spices, and put the cutlets in the sauce.
Cook under a lid over low heat for 15 minutes.
