Juicy and tasty fish cakes in tomato sauce: a recipe for a healthy dish
Fish cutlets are an ideal alternative to meat ones. To prevent the cutlets from falling apart, add white bread to the minced meat.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious fish cakes that cook very quickly.
Ingredients:
- 1 cod carcass - about 700-800 g
- 1 protein
- 2 tbsp. l. oatmeal
- 1 tbsp of starch
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
For the sauce:
- 2 onions
- 20 g of butter
- 1 tbsp. l sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- spices to taste
- 1 carrot
- 130 g of natural tomato puree
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the fish from the bones and skin, pass it through a meat grinder along with the onion, and add the rest of the ingredients.
2. Fry the cutlets in a frying pan for 2 minutes on both sides.
3. Sauce: fry carrots and onions in butter, add tomato puree, 50 ml of water, sugar and salt, simmer under the lid for 5 minutes.
4. Pour the sauce over the cutlets and simmer for 10 minutes.
