One of the most popular salads in Ukraine has always been vinegret. Every housewife has her own recipe that the whole family loves.

In addition, there are a few secrets that will make the vinegret simply unbeatable. Food blogger Valentyna Kushch shared them on Instagram.

Secrets of cooking vinegret

1. Dice the vegetables, add a little oil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. This way, they will acquire their maximum flavor.

2. Bake the garlic cloves together with them, which will be added to the dressing.

3. The proportions of vegetables used to make the vinegret play an important role. Beets, carrots and potatoes should be taken in a ratio of 3:1:1.

4. We use pickled cucumbers. But it will taste even better if the cabbage is sauerkraut.

5. If you want to add more autumn flavor to the salad, you can use mushrooms.

6. To improve the taste of the salad, 1/3 of the pickles can be replaced with capers.
