Liver is a very tasty and healthy product that should be in everyone's diet. You can cook it in different ways: stew, fry, make salads and pate.

The cook shared a recipe for delicious liver with carrots, sour cream, and tomato paste on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver 800 g
  • onion 2 pcs
  • 2 carrots
  • sour cream 3 tbsp
  • tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • flour 1 tbsp
  • salt, spices to taste
  • water 0.7 liters

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the onion into rings, fry in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes. Grate the carrots and add to the onions, fry for 4-5 minutes. Peel the liver in advance, cut it into small pieces, rinse well and put it into the vegetables. Simmer under the lid for 5 minutes. It is important not to add salt at once, but only at the end, so that the liver is more tender.

2. For the sauce: combine sour cream, tomato paste, flour, salt, spices (black pepper, paprika) and water, mix everything and pour the mixture over the liver.

4. Simmer under the lid for about 10 minutes.
