How to cook delicious and crispy bacon without a frying pan: the perfect method

Bacon will become more crispy and tasty if you don't cook it in a greased frying pan. This mistake in cooking bacon is very popular.

Lisa Bryan, a chef and founder of Downshiftology, urged people to give up frying pans because, according to her, cooking bacon in the oven makes it crispier and does not require washing greasy dishes afterward, the Express writes.

Cooking bacon in the oven creates a perfectly crispy, delicious product. The white fat on bacon cooks much faster than pink meat, so when it is fried in oil, the white outer part often remains burnt, and the pink center is undercooked and stringy.

How to properly cook bacon in the oven

All you need to do is preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Then line a large baking sheet with baking paper. Place the bacon on the baking sheet side by side and make sure none of the strips overlap.

Place in the oven and cook for 10-20 minutes until the bacon is as crispy as you would like.

Remove from the oven and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess fat.

To clean the fat from the bacon, simply remove the baking paper from the baking sheet and throw it in the trash.
