Hearty Hutsul-style potato pancakes for dinner: a simple recipe for a budget dish
Potato pancakes are a very satisfying and tasty dish that everyone can cook. To make the pancakes even more satisfying, prepare the dish with mushroom, meat, and cheese fillings.
The chef shared a recipe for delicious and hearty Hutsul-style potato pancakes with chicken, mushrooms and cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes 800 g
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Onion 1 pc.
- Flour 3 tbsp
- Salt, pepper
Filling:
- Champignon mushrooms 200 g
- Sour cream 1 tbsp
- Onion 1 pc.
- Chicken fillet 1 pc.
- Cheese 100 g
- Salt and pepper
- Greens.
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the mushrooms, chicken and onions separately in a frying pan. Mix chicken, mushrooms with sour cream and onions, add salt and pepper to taste. Stew everything together under a closed lid for a few minutes.
2. Peel the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater together with the onion. Add eggs, salt, pepper, flour and mix well.
3. In a frying pan, fry the thin pancakes with a little oil on both sides.
4. Put the filling on the fried pancakes and sprinkle with grated cheese. Put in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 200 C to melt the cheese.
Garnish the finished dish with herbs as desired!
