Potato pancakes are one of the simplest potato dishes. To keep them from being dark, add onions or onion juice to the base.

Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 4 small potatoes
- salt, pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp.of flour
- sour cream
Method of preparation:
1. Grate onion and potatoes on a coarse grater, add salt, pepper, egg, flour, and mix well.
2. Heat a frying pan with oil and add one tablespoon of potato dough at a time.
3. Fry the pancakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
4. Put the finished pancakes on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
