Healthy warm liver salad, with pineapple and vegetables: you can eat for lunch and dinner
Chicken liver is a very healthy and tasty product that can be the basis for salads, appetizers, and pates. To prevent the liver from becoming bitter, it should be soaked in cold water.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious, warm liver salad with vegetables and pineapple on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Chicken liver 200 g
- Corn starch 2 tbsp
- Garlic 2-3 cloves.
- Honey 1/2 tsp
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Pineapple 1 ring (can also be used canned)
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Cherry tomatoes 3 pcs.
- Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Sauce:
- Grainy mustard 1/2 tbsp.
- Honey 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon or lime juice 1 tbsp
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Pour cold water over the liver and clean it from the films and veins so that it looks like butter after cooking.
2. Cut the liver into halves, lightly salt, and roll in starch, heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the liver pieces for 4-5 minutes with garlic, then add a drop of honey and soy sauce, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
3. In a second frying pan, heat the butter and sugar and caramelize the pineapple for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat.
4. Add all the ingredients for the sauce to one bowl and mix with a brander; you should get a dressing with a good sourness and mustard flavor, and you should barely taste the honey.
5. Dress any salad or arugula mix with the sauce and serve with pineapple and liver, add cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds!
