Healthy homemade nuggets instead of store-bought: what to make breading from
Fast food can even be very safe and healthy if you cook it at home. For example, for crispy nuggets, you'll need regular chicken fillets. The pieces can be breaded in crushed cereal.

Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 2 pcs.
- salt, pepper – to taste
Ingredients for the batter:
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- milk – 4 tbsp.
- flour – 4 tbsp
- dry garlic – ½ tsp.
- paprika – 1 tsp.
- salt – ⅓ tsp.
Ingredients for the breading:
- corn flakes (unsweetened) – about 2 cups
- butter – 50 g
Ingredients for the sauce:
- mayonnaise – 3 tbsp.
- garlic – 1-2 cloves (to taste)
- dill – 1-2 sprigs
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces, so that they are easy to eat.
2. Season with salt and pepper and leave for 10 minutes to soak the meat in the spices.
3. In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs and milk.
4. Add the flour, dry garlic, paprika, and salt.
5. Mix well until smooth.
6. Grind the corn flakes by hand or in a blender (but not to a powder – the pieces should be medium in size to ensure a crispy crust).
7. Dip each piece of chicken in the batter and roll it well in the crushed flakes.
8. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
9. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the nuggets a little apart.
10. Melt the butter and pour it over each piece – this will give the meat a golden brown and juicy crust.
11. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the nuggets are golden brown.
12. Chop garlic and dill, and mix with mayonnaise. Let stand for 5-10 minutes.
13. Put the cooked nuggets on a plate and serve with the flavorful sauce.
