Amid the constant danger of a nuclear strike, pandemic, or apocalypse, billionaires have begun to think about their safety. However, it all looks like new boastful projects to show off their status.

In addition to SpaceX founder Elon Musk's dream of living on Mars, other billionaires are actively preparing for the apocalypse, as if it were about to happen. It's still an open question why the bunkers have a movie theater, swimming pools, and a 460-square-meter area. Metro learned more about the conditions in which the world's richest people plan to survive the apocalypse.

The construction of the "doomsday bunkers" is carried out by Vivos. They build shelters for the general public (more than 1,000 people), limited (up to 80 people) and personal use. Many billionaires use their services.

Peter Thiel, one of the co-founders of PayPal, has been trying to get permission to build his own bunker on the South Island of New Zealand for quite some time. Back in 2020, The Sun wrote that during the epidemic, the billionaire ordered the construction of a bunker in New Zealand from Rising S Co, but when he arrived at the site, he was unable to get inside.

Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Meta, which runs Instagram, Facebook, and other social networks, plans to spend $270 million on the construction of his storage facility. The bunker will be located in Hawaii. In addition, Zuckerberg plans to build a whole complex: two mansions and more than ten smaller buildings. For more details, follow the link.

In North Dakota in the United States, underground shelters are also being built for ordinary people. The Doomsday community turned a former military base into 572 bunkers that can accommodate more than 1,000 people. The shelters were built by the same company Vivos. Europeans will also be able to avoid the apocalypse as the company plans to create another bunker somewhere in the mountains of Germany.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about the underground city for 1,000 people from Vivos, which will help them survive the apocalypse, in more detail.
