If you want to make delicious pies, but don't want to make yeast dough, you can make a simple one with kefir and baking soda. And for the filling, you can use green onions, boiled eggs, cabbage, minced meat.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, hearty and quick fried pies with kefir, onions and eggs.
Ingredients:
- Kefir - 1 cup (200 ml)
- Flour - 300 g
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Boiled eggs - 4 pcs.
- Green onions - 8 stalks
- Hard cheese or mozzarella - 100 g
- Oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the kefir with salt, sugar and baking powder, add the egg and flour, and knead the dough.
2. Dice the boiled eggs. Chop the onion and grate the cheese. Add all the ingredients to the dough and mix well.
3. Put a large spoonful of dough into a preheated frying pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
