Fried cabbage patties for a snack: a simple recipe for a hearty dish
Homemade patties are the best dish for a snack. They can be prepared with different fillings and from different doughs.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very tasty fried patties, filled with fried cabbage.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 300 g of kefir
- 500 g of flour
- 1.5 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 2 tsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 200 g of frying oil
Cabbage stuffing:
- 1 onion
- 1 small cabbage
- 1 large carrot
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tbsp of tomato paste
- salt
- pepper
- oil
- bay leaf
- 100 ml of water
Method of preparation:
1. For cabbage stuffing: fry onions, add carrots, cabbage, garlic, water, and stew under a lid for 15-20 minutes, stirring. At the end of cooking add tomato paste, salt, pepper, bay leaf, and stew for another 5-10 minutes until moisture evaporates.
2. Dough: gradually combine all ingredients (kefir should be at room temperature or warm) and leave for 30 minutes.
3. Fry the patties in plenty of oil!
