Fragrant orange cupcake for Christmas: a recipe for delicious homemade pastries
If you want to make something tasty but simple for tea, a cupcake is ideal. And for a bright flavor, you can add berries, zest, cocoa, and chocolate to the dough.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious orange cake with protein icing on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 150 g of soft butter
- 150 g of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp. of sour cream
- zest and juice of 1 orange
- 230 g of flour
- 8 g of baking powder
- candied fruit – optional
For the glaze:
- 1 egg white
- 150 g of powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp.of lemon juice
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the butter with eggs and sugar. Add flour, baking powder, candied fruit, zest, and sour cream.
2. Pour the dough into a greased baking dish and bake at 180 C for 45 minutes, then remove from the dish after it has cooled completely.
3. Frosting: beat the egg whites. Mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice and add to the whites, mix and pour over the cupcake.
