Delicious and crumbly pilaf with chicken fillet: a recipe for a hearty dinner

The most delicious and simplest rice dish is pilaf. To prevent the dish from turning into mush, cooks advise rinsing the rice until the water becomes clear. And for a bright flavor and color, add roasted vegetables and meat to the dish.

The cook shared a recipe for a delicious pilaf with chicken, grated carrots, and onions on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g of round rice
  • 1 chicken fillet
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 tbsp of ketchup or tomato paste
  • 400 ml of water
  • salt, pepper, spices

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and fry until tender, add salt, pepper, and spices.

2. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots, add the chicken, stir, and add the ketchup, simmer for 5 minutes, then cover with water.

3. Add the rice and simmer over low heat until tender.
