Crispy country potatoes: one simple trick before baking will make the dish unrivaled
Country potatoes are one of the most popular potato dishes. To make them crispy and tasty, they need to be pre-boiled.
A cook shared a recipe for delicious and crispy rustic potatoes on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 kg
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
- sauce: yogurt + dill + garlic + paprika
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes well (no need to peel) and cut them into 4-6 pieces.
2. Put the potatoes in boiling water and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes after boiling so that the potatoes become slightly soft but not cooked. Drain and allow to dry slightly.
3. Put the boiled potatoes in a bowl, add spices and oil, and mix gently so that the pieces are evenly coated.
4. Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet covered with parchment in a single layer and bake for 20-30 minutes.
5. To make the sauce, mix yogurt with greens and your favorite spices and add a grated clove of garlic.
