Crispy chicken chops with salad for a delicious dinner: we share the recipe for the best batter
Chicken fillet is a very tasty and dietary product that can be the basis for making chops, meatballs, and dumplings with various fillings. The fillet can also be deliciously baked in the oven with cheese and vegetables, as well as used to make kebabs and add to salads.
The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious, crispy chop cooked in the oven with breadcrumbs.
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- oil
- salt, pepper, paprika
For the salad:
- arugula/spinach 2 handfuls
- cherry tomatoes 10 pcs
- Parmesan cheese 50 g
- lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2. Cut the chicken fillet in half, but not completely, and beat off (so that it does not break). Sprinkle with spices.
3. Batter: add the flour to a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs in another bowl, and add the breadcrumbs to a third bowl. Dredge the fillet on both sides in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs. Place on a baking sheet. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes, keeping an eye on the oven.
4. Salad: add arugula, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese to a bowl, then season with lemon juice, olive oil, and salt to taste.
Serve the chicken with the salad on top, sprinkle with cheese!
