According to experts, chicken liver is not only a budget-friendly but also a delicious product that everyone should eat. It's worth noting that it can be cooked in different ways, stewed with vegetables, fried, and used to make pates and chops.

The chef shared a recipe for delicious fried liver with apples and wine glaze on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 apples
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 500 g of chicken liver
  • 2-3 tbsp of flour
  • 2-3 tbsp of starch
  • salt, pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • red wine - 150 ml
  • sugar - 50 g
  • cherries

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the apples, cut them. Fry them in a mixture of oil + butter on both sides. It's pretty quick, because the apples need to stay in the aldente. Add sugar at the end. When it dissolves, it's done.

2. Wash the liver, cut it, roll it in flour and starch, fry on both sides.

3. Glaze: add sugar and cherries to the wine and cook until thick. Add the liver and cook for a few more minutes.
