Homemade cookies are best made with ginger, honey, cocoa, and nuts. And the dough for them is best made from butter, adding an egg, and always spices - cinnamon, star anise, cloves.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious, straight honey gingerbread cookies on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Honey - 150 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Spices (cinnamon, ginger) - 1 tsp each.
- You can add cloves, allspice or star anise
- Soda - 2 tsp.
- Butter - 120 g
- Egg - 1 pc (large)
- Flour - 500 g
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar, honey and spices to a saucepan. You need to take a larger saucepan or pot, because when you add the baking soda, the mass will begin to foam and grow. So, mix and put on the fire until it dissolves and bubbles. Add the baking soda and stir.
2. Next, add the oil and mix again. Add the egg and mix vigorously again to prevent it from curdling. Next, add the flour and knead a soft elastic dough.
3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured table or parchment. Cut out gingerbread with a cookie cutter, place on a baking sheet a little apart and bake at 180 C for 6-10 minutes.
