Braised chicken hearts in sour cream: perfect for porridge, potatoes and any side dish
Chicken hearts are a very nutritious and tasty offal. You just need to cook it properly. For example, stew in sour cream to make the meat soft and juicy.
The idea of cooking stewed chicken hearts in sour cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia Zhakulina. This is exactly what you need for potatoes, buckwheat or rice.
Ingredients:
- chicken hearts - 800 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- sour cream 15% - 3 tbsp.
- spices: salt, black pepper, fresh herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and clean the hearts from excess fat.
2. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
3. Add the grated carrots.
4. Fry for a few more minutes.
5. Add the chicken hearts.
6. Fry everything together over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
7. Add sour cream.
8. Stir and close the lid.
9. Cook for 15 minutes.
10. Sprinkle with fresh herbs.
