Beef paprikash: how to cook a hearty and tasty dish to match any side dish
Paprikash is a hearty and delicious Hungarian dish based on any meat, but it is better to use chicken or beef. The cooking technique is very simple: you need to stew the meat well in a frying pan in sour cream (cream) with paprika and onions. The dish is usually served with any side dish.
- Beef - 700 g
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l
- Water - 250 ml
- Flour - 1 tbsp
- Paprika - 1 tbsp
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the onion until golden brown, add paprika and flour, mix well and add the meat and fry a little.
2. Stir in water, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat, cover and cook until the beef is tender, and add the sour cream 5 minutes before cooking.
