Autumn grated pie with apple filling and cinnamon: the recipe for the most delicious homemade dessert
Grated pie is the best homemade tea treat. Moreover, the pie is very quick and easy to prepare, you just need to make the right shortcrust pastry. And you can use any jam, berries, apples, nuts, chocolate for the filling.

Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 250 g
- Cold butter - 150 g
- Egg yolk - 1 pc.
- Cold water - 30 g
- A pinch of salt
- Baking powder - 2 g
- Sugar - 70 g (you can add more, the pie is not too sweet);
- Apples - 3 pcs.
- Sugar - to taste
- 2 tbsp of sugar and a tablespoon of cinnamon
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Optionally, you can add nuts to the filling
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: add all the dry ingredients and cubed butter to the flour. Mix quickly, it is important that the butter is solid. Add the egg yolk and water. Knead a dense but soft dough. Divide it into two parts. One large, the other smaller (2/3 and 1/3). Put it in the refrigerator or freezer.
2. Filling: Peel and grate the apples. Add sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle with lemon. Put in a dry frying pan and stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
3. Put the dough into the mold (most of it). You can use your hands, grate it and press it down with your hands, roll it out between parchment. Spread the filling (cooled) evenly on top. The last layer is again grated dough (small part).
4. Bake at 180C for about 25-30 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
Cut and serve the warm pie!
