An elementary appetizer on crackers for the New Year's table: you don't have to cook or fry anything

You don't have to cook or fry anything to make a tasty and impressive appetizer for your holiday table. All you need is a few types of cheese and crackers on which to place the formed balls – it's very basic.

The idea of preparing an elementary appetizer on crackers for a festive table was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iryna Dimitrova. The dish can be a complete replacement for a salad.

Ingredients:

• cream cheese – 150 g
• hard cheese – 80 g
• salt – to taste
• dried/dried cranberries – 3 tbsp
• nuts – 3 tbsp
• cracker
• Rosemary

Method of preparation:

1. Add finely grated hard cheese to the cream cheese.

2. Chop the cranberries and nuts with a knife and add some of this mixture to the curd mass.

3. Also add a little salt to taste and mix.

4. Form balls from the curd mass and roll them in a mixture of nuts and cranberries.

5. Put each ball on a cracker and garnish with rosemary.
