The ideal base for quick pies is puff pastry. It does not need to be kneaded and rolled out for a long time - it is enough just to put it on the form. And for the filling, you should choose mushrooms - very easy and nourishing.

The idea of making a quick mushroom pie is published on the page of food blogger Tetiana Yushyna (_tanyushina_) on Instagram. In addition to mushrooms, feta and cream are added to the filling.



  • 400 g of puff pastry
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g cream
  • 70 g feta cheese
  • salt, pepper
  • 0.25 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. oregano

Method of preparation:


1. Peel the mushrooms and cut them into slices.

2. Fry the onion in butter, and add the mushrooms in 3 stages.


3. Roast until cooked. Add salt and pepper at the end.

4. Place the dough in a 22-24 cm mold, and trim off the rest.


5. Place the mushrooms inside.

6. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the eggs and cream. Whisk until smooth.

7. Pour over the mushrooms.


8. Crumble the feta on top. Sprinkle with oregano.

9. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
