Tiramisu and truffle flavored candies: how to make at home

Truffle and tiramisu are probably the most popular flavors of sweets today. But what happens if you combine these two flavors in one dessert?

This experiment was conducted by food blogger Lisa Glinska. It was she who shared an extremely simple recipe for tiramisu and truffle-flavored sweets on her Instagram. According to Glinska, even a child can handle their preparation.

Ingredients for 50 candies

  • Savoyardi biscuits - 400 g
  • Mascarpone - 200 g
  • Americano coffee or orange juice - 70 ml
  • Black rum - 20 ml
  • Powdered sugar - 80 g
  • Milk chocolate - 100 g
  • Cream 15-35% - 180 ml
  • Cocoa powder - 40 g

Method of preparation

1. Make crumbs from Savoyardi cookies.

2. Mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, warm coffee, and rum in a bowl. Mix with a whisk until smooth.

3. Heat the cream until steaming and mix it with the chocolate. The heat of the cream should melt the chocolate.

4. Add the warm chocolate mass to the coffee mascarpone. Stir to combine.

5. Add the Savoyardi crumbs and mix again. The crumbs should be moistened.

6. Cover the mass with cling film and refrigerate for three hours to stabilize.

7. Take out our tiramisu mass. Remove the cling film and form balls weighing 20 grams each.

8. Sift the cocoa powder through a sieve so that there are no lumps and roll the balls in it.

9. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days.
