The problem is that low-fat "milk" does not satiate the body but rather evokes appetite by increasing the level of glucose in the blood.

Very fatty sour cream

Sour cream with a fat content of 25-30% is also harmful to digestion as it is one of the most difficult foods for the pancreas and liver. But that doesn't mean you should give up sour cream altogether. To avoid digestive problems and the risk of developing gastrointestinal diseases, it is enough to simply buy a fermented milk product with a fat content of 10-15%.

Don't forget that all products in this group have a short shelf life. Yogurts, sour cream, cottage cheese, milk, and kefir can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days, which is their main difference from unnatural fermented dairy products that are harmful to intestinal health. The fact is that some manufacturers add antibacterial drugs to the "milk" to extend the shelf life of the products. Of course, this allows the products to stay fresh for longer. However, the substances are not safe for the intestinal microflora.
