Delicious cookie with strawberries on cottage cheese dough: very crispy

Strawberries can be found in stores or at markets. The berry is very juicy and flavorful. Therefore, it is an excellent base for making delicious desserts. A good option would be to make a galette of crispy cheese dough.

  • sour milk cottage cheese 5-9% 175 g
  • 175g flour
  • sugar 30g + 1 -2 tbsp sprinkle strawberries on top
  • vanilla sugar 10 gr
  • butter - 85 g
  • pinch of salt
  • egg yolk - 1 pc
  • strawberries or other berries - 300 g
  • starch - 1 tbsp. if stuffing is juicy

Method of preparation:


1. If the cheese is not homogeneous - you need to whip it with a blender or grind it through a sieve.

2. Grate butter, add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and flour.


3. We gather the dough into a ball, put it into a bag, and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes while we prepare the filling

4. Wash the strawberries and cut them into pieces. (It's best to add a spoonful of starch to the already sliced berries and stir)

5. Roll out the dough thinly in a circle shape on the parchment on which the dessert will be baked because it will be hard to carry.


6. Place the strawberries in the middle of the dough and wrap the edges of the dough.

7. Sprinkle the strawberries with 1-2 spoons of sugar.


8. Coat the edges of the galette with egg yolk, transfer it carefully together with the parchment to a baking tray, and bake it in a preheated 180 degrees oven for about 30-35 minutes until it turns brown.


9. Let the galette cool, if desired you can decorate it with powdered sugar.
