Ukraine has been elected for the first time to the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO: what does this mean

During the 24th session of the General Assembly of States Parties to the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Ukraine was elected to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for the first time. For our country, this is a historic event and a strategic step towards the preservation and development of national heritage.
