Medvedev called the German Minister of Justice a "moron"

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, continues to spew aggressive statements and insults against European politicians. This time, he called German Federal Minister of Justice, Marco Buschmann, a "fool" for saying that he intended to arrest Russia's chief war criminal, Vladimir Putin.

Moreover, Medvedev threatened to launch missile attacks on the office of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Russian propaganda media published a segment of Medvedev's aggressive speech (please scroll to the bottom of the page to see the video).

Offended by the International Criminal Court's decision, which issued an arrest warrant for Putin, Medvedev threw a tantrum and started insulting the head of the German Ministry of Justice. The day before, Buschmann said that if Putin came to Germany, he would be arrested.

The inadequate Russian politician called the German Minister a "moron" and said that Buschmann's words were tantamount to declaring war on Russia.

"Suddenly they make such a decision concerning our head of state. And then some fools, morons like the German Minister of Justice say, "Well, if he comes, we'll arrest him." Let's imagine-it's clear that this is a situation that will never materialize." But let's imagine that it did materialize. The current head of nuclear power came to the territory of, say, Germany and was arrested. What is this? A declaration of war against the Russian Federation," said Medvedev.

He also threatened that if the Kremlin war criminal was arrested, Russia would launch missile strikes on Germany, in particular, Scholz's office.

"In this case, all our means, missile and otherwise, will fly to the Bundestag, the chancellor's office, and so on. Does he realize that this is casus belli, that this is a declaration of war? Or did he not study well?" the Russian politician said in hysterics.

Recall, on March 17, 2023, Putin received the official status of a suspect in the international crime of illegally forcibly transferring Ukrainian children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation. The ICC also issued a warrant for the arrest of Maria Lvova-Belova, the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, called the decision of the International Criminal Court "historic". The Ukrainian leader thanked the team of prosecutor Karim Khan, the ICC staff, and everyone who helps us fights for justice.

Earlier, it was reported that the Administration of U.S. President Joe Biden positively assessed the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to announce an international arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

By the way, German Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann said that if dictator Vladimir Putin comes to Germany, he will be immediately detained and sent to The Hague. This will be done through the issuance of an arrest warrant for the Russian dictator by the International Criminal Court.

After that, the Office of the President of Ukraine called the statement of the German Federal Government regarding the arrest warrant for the Russian dictator very symbolic.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov spoke about the dictator's attitude to the International Criminal Court's decision to issue a warrant for his arrest. The defendant in the case of the abduction of Ukrainian children "takes it calmly" and "does not take it personally."
