After a massive drone and missile attack, Israel is preparing to retaliate against Iran. However, the IDF first intends to coordinate its actions with its allies.

After the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with his cabinet ministers and immediately had a telephone conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden. So far, Netanyahu's office has not provided any additional details about the talks with the American president.

At the same time, one Israeli official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Israel's response would be coordinated with its allies. At the same time, the White House statement said that Biden had spoken on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in the evening. Washington promised to provide detailed information later.

Two Israeli officials said that Iran had launched 185 drones and 36 cruise missiles. Most of the launches were made from Iran, but some of the missiles flew from Iraq and Yemen.

As a reminder, on the night of April 14, the Israeli Defense Forces intercepted most of the more than 300 Shahed drones and missiles launched by Iran outside the country. The IDF was assisted by the U.S. and British military in repelling the attack, shooting down targets in the skies of Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
