The Israeli Defense Forces said it did not strike the hospital in Gaza. According to intelligence reports, the deadly explosion was caused by a failed rocket from the Islamic Jihad organization.

This statement was made by IDF spokesman Daniel Hagar, as reported by The Times of Israel. He noted that "an analysis of operational systems shows that terrorists fired a rocket salvo in the Gaza Strip, which was directly near the Al-Ahli hospital in the Gaza Strip at the time of the strike."

"Intelligence from several sources that we have indicate that Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket launch that struck the hospital in the Gaza Strip," the IDF spokesman emphasized.

He added that terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip are firing at Israel indiscriminately.

"Since the beginning of the war, some 450 rockets fired towards Israel have landed in Gaza, endangering and damaging Gaza's life," the IDF spokesman said.

On Tuesday evening, October 17, a rocket hit Al-Ahli hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing hundreds of people. Hamas blamed the incident on the Israeli army and called on Muslims around the world to protest. Israel, following its own investigation, said that the Islamist terrorist group Islamic Jihad was responsible for the attack on the hospital.

At the same time, mass protests began in Arab countries after the attack. In Jordan, after the attack on the hospital in Gaza, Hamas supporters set fire to the Israeli embassy and tried to storm it.

Protests in Tunisia, Turkey, Syria, Iran, and Lebanon.

The EU, the World Health Organization, the Arab League, and Turkish President Recep Erdogan condemned the bombing of the hospital in Gaza.

As a reminder, the Israel Defense Forces continue to eliminate the leadership of the Hamas terrorist organization. As a result of a precision strike in the Gaza Strip, terrorist Osama Mazini was killed.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian threatened "consequences" for Israel, which continued to strike Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Tehran said that the resistance front could take "preventive action" shortly.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the United States allegedly ordered about 2,000 U.S. troops to be ready to support the Israeli army in the war against Hamas terrorists. The Pentagon sent the relevant orders.
