Citizens of the aggressor country of Russia launched a fake that Ukrainians in Poland allegedly beat Poles for refusing to shout "Glory to Ukraine". However, no one believed this fake, and Polish law enforcement officials denied it.

This was reported by the press service of the Warsaw Police. On the evening of 25 August, the Polish newspaper WolnośćTV published a video from Warsaw, which allegedly showed 12 Ukrainians attacking Poles.

The reason for the incident was stated to be that they allegedly refused to shout "Glory to Ukraine". The journalists claimed that the incident took place on Ukraine's Independence Day on 24 August.

This information was immediately picked up by Kremlin propagandists, who massively replicated it.

However, the Warsaw police department identified the attackers. And it turned out that there were no Ukrainian citizens among them.

"We identified 13 people. There were no Ukrainians among the attackers, but there were Georgian citizens. No one sought medical assistance or reported the crime," the department said.

As a reminder, the criminals distribute fake articles with blatant Russian propaganda on the Internet, uploading them to fake pages that mimic popular Ukrainian online media. The scheme uses domain addresses similar to those of real publications.

As OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, on 17 August, Russia released a film "Witness", which is horrifying in terms of propaganda. Its authors showed Ukrainian soldiers as admirers of Adolf Hitler and Nazism, using all possible myths of the Russian media.
