During his official visit to Italy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. After the talks with the Ukrainian President, the Italian Prime Minister expressed her unwavering support for Ukraine and Rome's approval of all 10 points of the Ukrainian peace plan.

Meloni also stressed: "Ukraine will definitely win, Europe is not considering any other options." The Italian Prime Minister made these statements during a joint press conference with Zelenskyy after the talks.

Meloni stressed that she is absolutely confident in Ukraine's victory, as peace, stability and freedom of the whole of Europe depend on it.

"I am convinced that Ukraine will win, that it will recover even stronger, more prosperous. The future of Ukraine is the future of peace and freedom, and it is the European future. There are no other possible solutions," the Prime Minister said.

That is why, Meloni stressed, Italy will continue to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine, including in the upcoming negotiations with Russia, side by side with its allies. The Italian Prime Minister stressed that they will start when and how Kyiv wants them to.

"We support President Zelenskyy's 10-point peace formula," Meloni added.

Recall that on May 13, Zelenskyy arrived on an official visit to Italy. He called the working trip "an important visit for victory".

While in Rome, the Ukrainian president met with the Italian president. During the meeting, Zelenskyy and Mattarella discussed the Ukrainian "peace formula".

The Ukrainian president also met with Pope Francis at the Vatican.
