Ukraine organized the first evacuation flight from Israel
On October 11, the fifth day of the confrontation between the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the right-wing Islamist group Hamas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine organized the first evacuation flight for our citizens. The first 200 tickets are on sale at pre-war prices, and the plane will take Ukrainians from Israel to Romania directly.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said this on the air of the UA Razom telethon. The evacuation flight is scheduled for next Saturday, October 14.
"The Ukrainian Embassy provides assistance to the most vulnerable segments of the population. We are talking about citizens undergoing treatment, citizens with children, tourists whose return flights have been canceled," the diplomat explained.
As a reminder, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky called the events "Israel's September 11," comparing them to the largest terrorist attack in history, which led to the deaths of thousands of innocent people.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, since the beginning of the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hamas terrorists, the number of casualties among Ukrainian citizens has increased to three. Nine other Ukrainian citizens were injured, and their condition and places of hospitalization are currently being investigated.
