NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, who was stuck on the ISS and scared doctors with her emaciated appearance during more than 160 days in space, gave a new interview. She boasted about the food that the space station crew enjoys on holidays, including Thanksgiving in the United States, which is celebrated today, November 28.

The space table is filled with the traditions of the American favorite holiday – smoked turkey, green beans, cranberries, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. Williams also said that the astronauts have a day off to celebrate, NBC News reports.

"We have a bunch of food that we packed for Thanksgiving," said Suni Williams.

The astronaut also added that there is no need to worry about her. She says she is enjoying her time in orbit and is in a good mood.

"We feel good, we train, we eat right. We are also having a lot of fun here. That's why, you know, people are worried about us. Really, don't worry about us," Williams said.

NASA doctors have been working with the astronaut to help her gain the pounds. After all, the viral images that spread online caused global concern about her health, experts said.

However, Sunita has repeatedly stated that she feels well and has even gained a few pounds during her stay on the ISS.

Williams has been living and working on the International Space Station for almost six months. She and her fellow NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore arrived at the orbital outpost in early June as test pilots during the first flight of the Boeing Starliner space capsule with the crew.

However, problems with the spacecraft forced the duo to stay in orbit for 9 months instead of 9 days as planned. Wilmore and Williams are due to return home in February in a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule.
