Trump shooter identified
FBI has identified the man who attempted to assassinate presidential candidate Donald Trump. The shooter was a local, Thomas Matthew Crooks.
The shooter was killed at the scene. This was reported by the New York Post.
The resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, fired at least 8 shots, one of which hit Trump in the ear. It is also known that there is a dead and wounded among the participants of the rally.
Crooks was shooting from the roof of a manufacturing facility located more than 120 meters from the stage at the Butler Farm Show. The attacker was eliminated by Secret Service snipers.
Later, an AR rifle was found at the scene of Crooks' death. Law enforcement is currently establishing the motives for the shooting of the Republican presidential candidate.
At the same time, a video allegedly recorded by Crooks shortly before the shooting was posted online. In it, he stated that he "hates Trump and Republicans." But in fact, the video was shot by jewgazing blogger posing as Thomas Matthew Crooks.
