Right-wing journalist who shamed Zelenskyy's outfit during Oval Office meeting says he is being threatened

Mikhail LevakinWorld

Brian Glenn, an American journalist for Real America's Voice who asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office why he was not wearing a suit, said he is being threatened. Because of this, he is now under police protection.

He told BBC about it, noting that this has affected his personal life.

"Death threats, phone calls - I don't know how they got my number," Glenn said.

Now he has a police unit at his home because people say they are going to find him and harm him, he added.

The journalist did not specify whether it was the threats or the police in his home that affected his personal life.

Brian Glenn also noted that he did not intend to offend President Zelenskyy and that he only checked whether he understood the "level of respect for the Oval Office."

"Many will say, why doesn't Elon Musk wear a suit? Why is he wearing a cap? Musk is charge of saving billions of taxpayer dollars. Zelenskyy was given, they say, about $300 billion in cash and military equipment, so I think it's worth showing respect," the reporter tried to justify himself.

As you know, Brian Glenn is a propagandist. He is a representative of the pro-Trump network Real America's Voice, and he got a place in the Oval Office after the White House blocked access for Associated Press journalists.

Netizens have already recalled that Winston Churchill also visited the White House in a uniform during World War II.

The reporter received major backlash from ordinary people and journalists alike both in Ukraine and around the world.

It is known that US President Donald Trump winked at Brian Glenn after he criticized President Zelenskyy for his military uniform. This gesture may indicate that the incident at the White House was an "ambush."
