In the center of Zakopane, two deer had a fight

In Zakopane, which is called the winter capital of Poland, two deer had a rare fight that surprised locals and tourists alike. There are quite a few of these animals in the city's parks, but the impressive deer fight took place in the very center of Zakopane, on Jagiellońska Street.

As noted in the local publics, the event completely stopped traffic on the street and attracted the attention of many people. No one remained indifferent to this spectacle.

Deer don't live in Zakopane, of course, but just sometimes come to the city. So they are wild animals, although most of them are not afraid of people or their cars.

Naturalists explain that now is the period of deer roaring when males compete for females. And such incidents, although they look spectacular, are dangerous for the animals.

In Zakopane's parks, herds of deer and fallow deer with calves often walk around, which has become a common sight for locals. However, for tourists, this can be not only attractive but also dangerous. Tourists often try to get close to the animals, feed them, and take pictures.

"But animals can suddenly get scared and become aggressive, which can lead to injuries. A panicked deer can run out onto the roadway and cause an accident. Reckless actions, such as children approaching wild animals, can end in disaster and even have legal consequences for parents," the Tatra National Park experts say.

It is also interesting that wild animals quickly get used to feeding and lose their natural fear of people. "This can lead to aggressive behavior and demand for food from people," the naturalists add.
