Iranian officials did recognize the transfer of ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones to the terrorist country Russia. Tehran claimed that it was bartering weapons to Moscow, receiving soybeans and corn in return.

Moreover, Iran has noted that such cooperation allows Russia to avoid Western sanctions. This was stated by a member of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Bakhshaish Ardestani.

According to him, Iran is allegedly forced to supply missile weapons and UAVs to the Russian occupation army. The Iranian MP explained that Tehran receives agricultural products in return.

"Iran exports drones and missiles to Russia as part of its economic and political cooperation. On the other hand, the Russians cooperate with Iran to circumvent sanctions. We import a lot of goods from Russia. We have to deal with the import of soybeans and wheat to meet our needs," Ardestani said.

The member of parliament also added that he sees nothing wrong with arms supplies, adding that the new sanctions do not scare Iran. Ardestani emphasized that Tehran also provides missiles to the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups.

"We sell weapons, receive dollars, circumvent sanctions through partnership with Russia, and import soybeans and corn from Russia. Europeans sell weapons to Ukraine. We give missiles to Hezbollah, Hamas and Hashd al-Shaabi, so why shouldn't we give missiles and drones to Russia to support our ally," Ardestani said.

As a reminder, Iran's transfer of ballistic missiles is part of deepening its strategic partnership with Russia. Iran is interested in financial injections from Russia, receiving Su-35 fighters, as well as assistance in modernizing its cyber capabilities and space and missile programs.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the White House said it was "alarmed" by the strengthening of cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of arms. According to US National Security Council spokesman Sean Savett, Iran's transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia will mark a sharp escalation of the war.

Earlier it was reported that Russia has already received the first batch of short-range ballistic missiles from Iran. According to preliminary data, the Iranian regime could have transferred more than 200 ballistic missiles to the Russians.

After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to Iran's possible transfer of ballistic missiles to the terrorist country of Russia. The diplomatic agency called on the leadership of the Islamic Republic to refrain from cooperating with the Russians.
