US President Joe Biden's administration has warned US House Speaker Mike Johnson against blocking an agreement to strengthen security at the US border. This document should also unblock aid to Ukraine and other countries.

"We have worked diligently to make real progress on one of the most important issues facing us - securing our border. Now we need Speaker Johnson to step up to the plate and provide the authority and resources outlined in our request," she said.

The White House spokeswoman noted that the Republican Party itself has been in favor of allocating new resources for border security, and the Trump administration has emphasized this directly. The agreement, which was worked on by Republicans and Democrats in the Senate, as well as the White House, provides the necessary measures for this.

In addition, referring to Johnson, Jean-Pierre emphasized that if the Republican Party wants to address the problem of illegal immigration, "he must give the Biden administration the authority and funding necessary to secure the border."
